RAABTA is an Urdu word which literally means connection or contact. The Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS) initiated a project by the name of RAABTA which is aimed at doing research for exploration and availing of the ideas and opportunities of regional integration andcooperation by Pakistan and also successfully address challenges in this regard.
A part from its literal meaning that correlates well with the aims and objectives of the CPGS project, RAABTA is an acronym of six different phrasal terms – explained below – that highlight different individual components of the project.
